Tuscany is centrally positioned along the Tyrrhenian Sea on the west coast and stretches inland across the rolling countryside of Italy. In Tuscany, the red wines are most famously Sangiovese-based wines that are Chianti, Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino. Many wines from Tuscany are labeled as Toscana IGT as they do not conform to the traditional production rules. These wines can be produced using 100% Sangiovese grapes or with blends of international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah.
On the other hand, Puglia is located in the southern region of Italy. It has been ever growing in popularity for its great wine production and good value based indigenous grape variety. The warm Mediterranean climate of the Puglia region creates a unique atmosphere that lends itself ripe, fruity and robust red grapes that are based on the Primitivo and Negroamaro grape variety

Due Di Due Rosso Puglia IGT

The Lupo Meraviglia Due Di Due Rosso Puglia IGT is a rather special wine. Carefully produced from a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes, it relies in its vinification method which involves the use of millstones during the fermentation process.
These ancestral elements had been used in Puglia since the first wine-making experiences, and various archaeological findings attested their presence in the Salento area. They were made of stone and with their characteristic shape allows a better contact between the must and the skins, improving the dissolution of oxygen during the fermentation process.
